Depending on the depth of the needles, pinpoint bleeding can occur, but it will stop once the procedure is complete. Immediately following the treatment, you may experience redness and mild inflammation, which usually subsides within 24 hours. In some cases, redness can take up to 48 hours to fully subside. Your skin may feel tight and sunburned for the first day or two.

To ensure the best results and avoid complications like scarring or infection, it’s essential to follow the aftercare instructions provided by your skin therapist. These include:
 • Avoid picking at dry skin to prevent scarring and infection.
 • Avoid saunas or vigorous exercise for the next 24-48 hours post-treatment.
 • Protect your skin from the sun by applying sunscreen every day (even on cloudy days) to prevent sun damage and pigmentation.
